Leads for companies that sell to new trucking companies
Every new motor carrier has to register with FMCSA and get a USDOT number before it can haul freight. In its first weeks it shops for commercial auto insurance, a factoring company, fuel cards, an ELD, a load board and a dispatcher.
The new trucking companies list turns FMCSA's public carrier census into a daily spreadsheet of those brand-new carriers, filtered to your state and fleet size.
Why public records work for this
- New USDOT registrations appear in FMCSA's public data within days, long before most carriers have a website.
- Fleet size (power units and drivers) lets you separate one-truck owner-operators from small fleets.
- Cargo type, for-hire status and hazmat flags let insurance and compliance vendors target the right carriers.
Lists to start with
| List | Why it fits |
|---|---|
| New trucking companies list | New FMCSA carriers with USDOT/MC number, fleet size, cargo and business address. |
| New business leads (all lists) | New LLCs and corporations by state, filtered to trucking (NAICS 484). |
A simple weekly workflow
- Pick the states you serve.
- Filter by fleet size, for-hire or private carriage, cargo type or hazmat.
- Run a 3 to 7 day window daily or weekly and dedupe on the USDOT number.
- Send new carriers to your CRM or a Google Sheet and reach out in the first two weeks.
Frequently asked questions
Does the list include driver or owner names?
No. You get business records: legal or DBA name, USDOT and MC numbers, fleet size, cargo and the business address and phone published by FMCSA. Personal names are not returned.
How new are the carriers?
The list is built from FMCSA's public census by registration date, so you can pull carriers added in the last few days.
