Set up in about two minutes

No formulas, no scripts. It lives in the Extensions menu of Google Sheets.

  1. Pick the date column

Expiration, renewal, due date: any column with dates. Choose who gets the email: an address column or one fixed address.

  2. Choose when

Remind 30, 7 and 0 days before, or any days you like. Skip rows marked Done.

  3. Forget about it

SheetReminders checks once a day and sends from your own Gmail. It can log each send back into the row.

Private by design

SheetReminders runs inside Google Apps Script, in your own Google account. Your rows and reminder settings stay in Google. They are never copied to Loomwise servers, and nobody at Loomwise can read them.

It reads only the spreadsheets where you set up reminders and sends email from your Gmail as you. It never reads your inbox. The only thing our license service receives is your Google account email, to know whether your trial or plan is active.

SheetReminders' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Read the full privacy policy →

Questions

Can Google Sheets send email reminders?

Not without writing Apps Script yourself. SheetReminders adds it with no code: pick a date column and how many days ahead, and reminders go out daily from your Gmail.

Can you set reminders in Google Sheets for expiration dates?

Yes. Put the dates in a column, open SheetReminders from the Extensions menu, and choose the reminder days. Presets cover insurance certificates, licenses, contracts and invoices.

Who are the emails sent from?

From your own Gmail or Google Workspace address, so replies come straight to you. Google's daily sending limits for your account apply.

Does my computer or the sheet need to be open?

No. Reminders run on Google's servers once a day, even when the sheet is closed.

Does Loomwise see my data?

No. Everything is processed by Google inside your account. Our license service receives only your Google account email. Details are in the privacy policy.

What happens when the trial ends?

Reminders pause until you choose a paid plan. Your sheet and settings stay as they are. You are never charged automatically, because no card is needed for the trial.

Should I rely on it for legal or compliance deadlines?

Use it as a helper, not your only safeguard. Email can be delayed or filtered, so keep an eye on critical dates too.
